Our Story
Finding Love
Brittany was born and raised on Long Island in New York. Drew was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We both wound up in Las Vegas and found each other. We first "met" online in 2017, seeing each other for the first time in person at the Linq Promenade. We ate sushi burritos at Ja Burrito and had Sprinkles vending machine cupcakes for dessert while watching the flamingos at The Flamingo. From that day on, we began to spend more and more time together, watching horror movies and exploring Las Vegas while playing Pokemon GO.
Building a Life Together
In 2018, we moved in together. That fall, we began a yearly tradition and labor of love: creating a haunted house for trick-or-treaters every Halloween (Halloween gallery). Over the years, we've travelled, gone to concerts and shows, and became the people we are today together. Drew introduced Brittany to World of Warcraft and Brittany introduced Drew to Dungeons & Dragons. In 2024, our family grew from the two of us, Ada the bernerdoodle, and Ashley Greyface of Caerbannog the rabbit to include our new bernerdoodle puppy, Leo.
The Proposal
Drew asked Brittany to marry him on Friday, September 13th, 2024. He planned a beautiful evening with a private dinner. He proposed with his grandmother's ring and Brittany happily accepted. We are both so grateful to have enjoyed one another's love and support these nine years, and we are so excited to spend the rest of our lives side-by-side.
